Mölndals IBF was one of 14 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Piratcupen 2020. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 07 and Pojkar 06 respectively. The team in Pojkar 06 made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspel Aand won it over Eken IBK by 2-1.

In addition to this, Mölndals IBF have participated in Piratcupen before. During Piratcupen 2019, Mölndals IBF had one team playing in Pojkar 06. The team in Pojkar 06 made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspel C, but lost it against Eken IBK by 1-8.

Mölndals IBF comes from Mölndal which lies approximately 29 km from ONSALA, where Piratcupen takes place. The area around Mölndal does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Piratcupen 2020 (Among others: Kärra IBK, Särö Seahawks IBK, Lindås Rasta IBK, Utbynäs Sk, Varla IBK, Åsa IF, Onsala IBK, Floda IBK, IBK Kungälv and Eken IBK).
