Wårgårda IBK was one of 14 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Piratcupen 2020. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 06 and Flickor 06-08 respectively. Two teams played until Brons in Slutspel A; Flickor 06-08 won over Varla IBK Lila by 5-3 but Pojkar 06 lost against Åsa IF by 1-6.

In addition to this, Wårgårda IBK have participated in Piratcupen before. During Piratcupen 2019, Wårgårda IBK had two teams playing in Pojkar 06 and Flickor 06 respectively. The team in Flickor 06 made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspel A, but lost it against IK Zenith by 1-2.

Wårgårda IBK comes from Vårgårda which lies approximately 86 km from ONSALA, where Piratcupen takes place. Other than Wårgårda IBK, the club Floda IBK does also originate from the area around Vårgårda.
